Format changed for friendly game

Saracens' game at Coventry on Tuesday 6 August will take a slightly unfamiliar shape. The match that kicks-off at 7.30pm will not be made up of the ususal two 40-minute halves, but five periods of 20 minutes apiece. The irregular timing pattern will give both sides the chance to try different combinations to see which ones will work for them. Also, the four rest breaks mean more chances for the playres to get their breath back, something that will come in useful if the recent hot and humid weather continues.

Coventry RFC say that the cost of admission to the game is likely to be a flat £5, but if there is any change, thesaracens.com will bring you the news.
