Saracens have announced that lock/back row forward Kris Chesney has signed a new contract with the club which will see him extend his decade-long spell with the Men in Black by another two years.
The 30-year-old who is in his testimonial season at Sarries joined the club back in 1995, originally as a wing, but since then he has made over 200 appearances for the club in several different positions, settling this season at lock.
Chesney said on the club's official web site: "It was a very easy decision to make. We are moving forward as a club, competition for places is very strong, we have a get set-up and an excellent squad. I’m delighted to have signed for another two years."
Saracens Head Coach Steve Diamond also commented: "Kris is the life and soul of the club. He makes a huge contribution to Saracens both on and off the field and we are delighted to have him with us for the next two seasons."
