Tim Horan is hopeful that his troublesome knee and wrist will be in fit enough condition for him to start the Zurich Premiership season.
Speaking on the Saracens official site prior to his departure for Japan, the ex-Wallaby centre said that his rehabilitation is coming along and that he hopes he will see some time on the field during the two match tour.
"I'm running every other day now and managing to get through whole sessions for the first time. I'm hoping that if this continues and my knee and wrist continue to respond that I might get 15 minutes in the Suntory game, but we'll have to see and play things by ear." he said.
The squad, according to Horan, are all in high spirits and will be concentrating on the opening league match at Bristol on 1 September, only when the Suntory game on 25 August is out of the way.
