Tigers take on Toulouse in preseason

Tigers today confirmed that a preseason game against former European Cup winners Toulouse has been arranged for Saturday 24th August at 3pm. A home preseason game is a rare treat for Tigers fans who have in recent years had to travel to the likes of Cardiff, Ulster and Perpignan to get their fix before the season began.

It seems to have been a common theme in recent years that Tigers lose their preseason games and go on to win trophies, will the same happen this year? A home game may give Tigers the upperhand against Toulouse, however the team that plays is likely to include some of the new boys such as Franck Tournaire and Tom Tierney and we may see a more experimental style of play from the boys before the season starts.

Members have until 10th August to secure their seats.
