Today the lads are in the east midlands for an early kickoff. If you could not make it today then join us on here at 1 p.m......

A win  is the minimum requirement from today's game. I think we can  do it providing we learned some lessons last week. Hopefully Radio Leeds will give us a commentary !

Instead of "guess the attendance", why not have a "guess the number of cards" game instead? We can play that one home or away!

Still a Tyke - whatever the name!

Sounds much better than last week. Wonder what the ref's problem with Harris is. The addition of Holmes seems to be livening up the back line.

Looking much much better. Hope Myerscough OK ? But we obviously just don't like playing with 15!

So the ref has got rid of Harris albeit not via a red card.

We shouldn't be losing a game after having that lead. Will be interesting to hear the comments of those who went and GMs thoughts

The ball handling today was abysmal!
Couple that with the penalties we gave away and the 2 sin bins and you can see why we threw it away.
Definitely not one to remember :-(

Life is what you make of it - you only get 1 so enjoy it

Too much reliance on Buzz - he was knackered as he was playing everywhere and anything. Passing was awful, awful, awful. Not going for 3 points - only came off once.

Goodness knows what Mercer said at half time, we'd not been playing that bad (not good but better than we have been) but he must be of the Diccon Edwards school of half time team talks - utterly clueless and Nottingham knew it and attacked it.

And poor show from the club - seems the shirts are in the shops but no announcement to get us spending. They look PDG to me through.

We miss Burdon in the centres. No pace there now. We have no plan B if plan A (pass it to Buzz) doesn't work. He is an awesome player, but we need another of him.

Think Jonah touched the ball 4 times? And created 2 half chances.

Georgiou added some pace when he came on.

The real worry for me is the endless penalties we seem to concede at the scrum. We can't blame the ref every week.

Thank goodness for the B&I cup (not usually words that come from my mouth) we need to use the time to get some players back and find a plan B.

Is part of the missing plan b another 9 and 10?

Fresh legs, change the system, add some spark after 60 mins or so. All teams do it but we seem to be very short sighted in our recruitment.

Key changes in key positions, new coach with different ideas, its bound to upset things for a while. That said the discipline and collapses are not good.

Better happening now than next year. I hope we are looking to strengthen soon.

As I always do, I've written the match report before I have looked on the MB. We are miles behind last season at 9 and 10. As has been said above the passing from behind the scrum and the ruck area today was abysmal.

COME ON LEEDS.
We've been through it all together.

Just got back from the game and feeling really frustrated. I'm no great expert but it was just dumb and dumber out there today to my mind. Can't understand why we don't take easy points on offer from penalties when we are in the lead but not by too many = dumb. Goss's yellow was pathetic = dumber. Can't understand why, if you field a clearance kick in your own half, have Jonah inside you offering an easy outlet and have 3 opponents bearing down on you, you take the contact with no support in sight, giving an obvious penalty away for holding on = dumb. When the plan A misfires (Buzz ploughing up the middle but with the opposition ready and waiting in numbers most of the time and smashing him back)why don't we have a plan B instead of continually playing into their hands = dumber. Buzz must be out on his feet and will suffer badly in my view if he carries on playing like that. He looks like he's trying to take responsibility for everyone else's inadequacies or lack of form. The play seems all so pedestrian and one dimensional to me. Where's the speed of thought and action gone from last season? OK the first half wasn't bad but the second half was inexplicable to me. Change of personnel but same disappointing result.

Seem miles off last seasons's performance. Does GM really know what he is doing??....Will he now quickly get to grips with the deficit given a few weeks breathing space...or is he underfunded and professionally out of his depth? Words count for nowt. Urgent Action...to stem the tide...is what is really needed...or there will be no fan base left!!

Certainly cant see much room for optimism? And that's not like me....Can we please have some straight talking....or are we witnessing the demise of Leeds Rugby.

17-6 up and throw it away. At this rate we might be playing Ealing next year...or ( looking at their investment ) maybe not!!

Seems to me the concentration on robust defence (and we are definitely more robust than last season) is currently leading to a lack of creativity and more injuries. Need to get the balance right.

Exactly Almo, get the balance right. There were times again today when we tried to play too much rugby, offloading when going to ground was a safer option. We are not running good lines or angles at all, and if Buzz isn't there to take the ball, we look clueless.

COME ON LEEDS.

Whats the answer...just a more balanced approach next time out?? Or do the problems run deeper in different directions? Bad enough listening must have been harder to be there!! I think GM has some serious talking to do. I'm not sure he has a grip on this? Hope I'm wrong! Surely we shouldn't be looking for the 'right approach' half way through the season?

Deal with the feedback from this official about why he took such exception to Harris's scrummaging. I do not remember Harris having such difficulties last year ? Referees can destroy a team's confidence, and at least on the radio it sounded like we were doing fine until he forced us to take Harris off the pitch.

Kev., it is interesting listening to the post match interview with Buzz, especially his comments about Ben Harris. At one point in the first half, words were exchanged between the two, and Ben appeared to be a bit miffed, coming across to talk to the conditioner. I'm sure it was frustration on Ben's part, but the team have to stick together, if there is a rift, the damage will be horrendous. While he was on the field, today, Ben ran Buzz close for MoM honours and scored a superb try.

COME ON LEEDS.

The scrum is always about the referees interpretation, but Leeds should get a Championship ref. to come to the club and explain what they are looking for. As Buzz rightly says, if the ref is telling you something on the pitch you are not happy with, then you do what he wants and get on with it.

COME ON LEEDS.
We've been through it all together.
