The domestic season has limped to a close. Now it is time to vote for the salerugby.co.uk Player of the Season 2001/02 and first we're picking from the forwards. The way this is going to work is as follows: I will nominate six forwards for you to vote for Forward of the Season. The following week I will nominate six backs and you can vote for Back of the Season.

Then finally we will have an overall poll (it has to be done this way because the poll has a maximum of six responses, and I think there are so many players deserving of the award that I could not whittle them down to six in one go).

So vote now for your forward of 2001/02. And if you think it should one of the players who I've not put in the poll (Marais, Titts, Jones, Sanderson, Giacheri, Perelini) then say so on the messageboard.
