Important notices re the Bishopston CC Fun Day / Bristol Rugby Club V Supporters Game on 31st July, starting at 2pm. Last year the players just scraped through helped on their way by some interesting fielding from a certain organiser of the coach travel who shall remain nameless (is that okay CM?) Firstly, please note that there will be limited parking available for spectators on the Westbury Fields Site, it is probably best not to bring vehicles. We will obviously have parking for the players.

Secondly, no alcohol is to be brought onto the site, alcohol is to be purchased from the licensed bar. Last year a lot of spectators brought their own beer and it defeated the object of fundraising from a BCC perspective, they have been very helpful in organising the event & to contravene this may jeapordise future events.

It is the intention to make the game a 30 Over Match, starting at 2pm (the same as last year). The players will need to be there about 1.15pm for the toss etc.

The Bar and Barbecue will be open all day and there will be a raffle with excellent prizes (Grizz reckons he can get a signed shirt or equivalent! and we should have a signed Rovers Ball or City Ball). We have also booked a Bouncy Castle.
