The Bristol Shoguns Supporters Club has 2 events lined up this week. First up is the ever popular Supporters Forum where James Grant (pictured left) is amongst those due to attend. There will also be an event after Saturday's game.

The latest Supporters Club Forum will be held in the clubhouse at the Memorial Stadium on Wednesday 16th October. It'll all start at around 8pm but try and get there for 7:45pm as it's bound to be popular and seats will be hard to come by.

New Supporters Club chairman has weaved his verbal magic and it is hoped that Peter Thorburn, Mike Rafter and James Grant will represent the coaching staff. We're also hopeful that Gareth Archer and Daryl Gibson will attend on behalf of the players.

Entrance will be free to Supporters Club members and non members will be able to join on the night.

The Player of the Month award for September will be presented on Wednesday as well. The choice for September will come as no surprise - Garath Archer. Arch has been in great form so far this season, the national press have been talking about a England recall for him which would be well deserved.

Perhaps most impressive however is the way in which he has risen to the responsibilities of captaincy in the unfortunate absence of Ross Beattie.

Finally, there will be a band playing in the clubhouse on Saturday after the Montferrand game. The band is 'The Harrisons' and the event will take place between 5:30 and 7:30.
