Last Saturday The Fleet kicked off the new season away at Aldershot and sadly lost 3-2. We have all the stats here.

Aldershot Town 3 v Gravesend & Northfleet 2

 

Fleet boss Liam Daish handed debuts to 9 of his summer signings, for the opening match of The Nationwide Conference.

Debuts went to goalkeeper Lance Cronin, Peter Hawkins, Sacha Opinel, Mark Ricketts, Mark DeBolla, George Purcell, Rob Quinn, Jon Keeling and Danny Ekoku.

 

Sadly though after being 2-0 with goals from Mark DeBolla and a penalty from Charlie Mac it wasn't enough as Aldershot turned it round again at The Rec to win 3-2 with the winner right at the end of the match.
