Knights v Blues

The league table shows, Blues will be a 5 point win in Castle Park, however, a Blues win in Doncaster is something we have not seen for a long time! I also thought Knights players really well against us at Goldington Road.

Knights have turned over Warriors at home and also almost won away last weekend. Blues also have a few injuries which will make the task harder if these players are not fit. If we win it will take up one step closer to 2nd.

I think we will see Worth on the wing with Adamson and Le Bourgeois with Titherington in the centres.

Forwards (if fit and available) will be the ones who started last week.

I agree, possibly our biggest test so far this calendar year.
Bound to be wet. Bound to be competitive. Bound to be close. Time to stand tall !

TryBlues no need to say sorry a great summary of the game.

Its a pity more Blues supporters do not contribute to this forum., there are several who contribute regularly to Rolling Maul.

Strong squad. Game on. Now it’s all down to mental strength. We won’t need luck if we get that right. Come on you Blues!

Well, let’s not dwell on that.
We got what we deserved on the day.
Discipline again, but not the main issue. Plenty of effort, but regrettably no end product.
Three consecutive underperforming away games. It will come good.
On to the next. Sport is a fickle mistress.

Is this the biggest losing margin for the Blues in recent years?

Let's put the result in perspective this was last years 2nd playing last year's 3rd team, however as so often happens it was played as this year's 2nd playing 10th.

We always play better against teams we perceive are 'better' than us and seem to struggle against thoes placed lower than us 'currently' in the league....do you agree?

A bit like the England's game against Scotland.....and like that game once your behind its hard if not impossible to get back.....

Every match must be treated as a must win.....here again do you agree.....

Agree Compo, all sport is ‘must win’ otherwise it’s wrestling in the seventies.

Not sure what or why, but the club may need to look at their away match final hours prep.

The same effective and committed players at home, seem to start away about one yard slower. Is it the challenge of over coming the home advantage mindset? or are we missing a vital preparation moment that we found in 2025? Remember that start away to Ealing last year?

The lads do us proud, and yes I hope for perfection, but little point in supporting them if we don’t push them on when things get tough. They need us to do our bit as well. Aim for the stars and …..

Come on you blues.
