Not available for selection: Emeka Atuanya, George Furbank, Sam Graham, George Makepeace-Cubitt, Archie McParland, Toby Thame, Ollie Sleightholme, and Robbie Smith.
Strong looking team, but will they perform?! The French team is not full of star studied names then. But hopefully we will go full guns blazing from the first minute.
Looking forward to being there.
Stockers COYS!!
Although both are available, no Haffar or Millar-Mills in the squad. Are they both on their way out of Saints?
Although there’s been no confirmation from either club I’ve seen it reported in several places that both Tarek Haffar and Tom Seabrook are moving to Leicester Tigers in the Summer.
As far back as 25th Jan in their report of the Quins v Saints game the Daily Telegraph said ‘Tarek Haffar. The rumbling loosehead prop, bound for Leicester Tigers this coming summer stood tall……’

I have also heard this story. And whilst I cannot comment on Seabrook,I have heard that Haffar is being offered "silly money" to move up the road.
Obviously the Leicester Mercury will have a fraction of the circulation of the D. Telegraph however it probably has better connections to the Tigers.
Either way back at the start of March they had the following:
‘Announcements regarding signings look imminent, too. Tom Seabrook, Tarek Haffar and Jamie Blamire appear to be heading to the club to add to the very exciting mid-season arrival of Adam Radwan.‘
Disappointed if he is leaving as he’s really impressed, although the club won’t be able to reward all the growing talent with big raises. I suspect he’s just behind Manny in the pecking order and Tom West is the bench losehead. We have a couple of U18/U20 lads too so maybe we simply have to accept the money has to be stretched and we’ll lose one or two along the way. A shame but that’s just how it is. I suspect we are destined to rely on our academy and scouting good project players from the leftfield rather than writing big cheques for big, established names.
Many tickets still available, such a shame for a euro QF. Let's get behind the lads, everyone who is going. We have a massive role to play, it can be another famous Friday night. And to the club - looks like tickets may have been overpriced given the 2 months or so to sell. Hope they sell cheaper for the QF if we get one. The main thing by far is getting a decent crowd who will sing the boys to a SF.

twsaint A quick tot up of available seats looks like 904 unsold. Given that some will sell today, that's hardly a disaster and doesn't suggest overpricing
I suspect most of them are returns from Clermont which have only been available for a few days ?
Its all quie subdued on here, no talk of being 16th man etc.
But this is our season tonight, so willl need the Gardens on top form. I will be shouting my head off.!
Looking forward to a good night and a Saints win.

Let's hope they sell them all. It just surprises me that they have not all sold already, which leads me to question the pricing - particularly in the premium areas where there are still quite a few tickets. Either way - it's a good side out, hope there is a big reaction following the Tigers game last time at FG. And as Push Over says, the 16th man will be needed!
St M, as TWS says I expect a fair few of those have come back from Clermont who will find it difficult to get here for a Friday evening game. Will be eve harder should we win, for next weekend.
Hi all,
unfortunatly, and for the first time, I shall not be at the Gardens tonight.
Our side is more or less the best available.
This is the only opportunity for us to save a sad season.

I want to hear you all the way over here in the colonies!
Toulon put 72 points on Sarries despite Sarries being in the lead for the first half. Goes to show the importance a strong bench makes in the modern era. Sarries always claimed it was their Wolfpack mentality rather than having a bench stacked with a crazy level of quality like Skelton and Schalk Burger. The same away thrashing happened to them last season v Racing.
By the same token Leinster have that same advantage of an international quality bench should we make the semis so it’s not a level playing field.
