If I've got most of these right it only proves what a saddo I am (none Googled or otherwise researched)

1) Bath, Leicester, Gloucester,Sale, Wasps - not sure if Saracens count
2) Martin Bayfield
3) I think London Scottish and Richmond went in administration and were taken over (or possible merged ) by London Irish
4) Trinity?
5) Dallaglio and Dawson
6) 1991 Pilkington Cup
7)Loads as Geech picked them Dawson, Grayson, Rodber, Beal,om Smith and Gregor Townsend but I don't know if they were actually playing for Saints at the time
8) Phil Pask
9) Bath
10) Can only think of Sam Olver and Howard Packman
11) Guessing 1991
12) Gary Pearce (or maybe John Olver)
13) Saracens
14) Dawson & Cohen?
15) guessing LOmu
16) Funbus
17) Mat Dawson although he might have been passed by Dylan Hartley this summer

Regarding the answers to Q1 by Messrs Spokes and Tedge - if top flight is deemed to be 1987 when the leagues were first formed then Sale needs to be excluded as it was relegated in 1988 and promoted again a few years later.
