News: Premiership Final Preview - Ahoy Mujatis!

By Rubadubdub; remember Seb Tubb?
May 20 2013

As we start the build-up to the Aviva Premiership final on Saturday, we have the first of our previews. "Seb Tubb" takes a novel look at what awaits Saints and Tigers at Twickenham on Saturday...

"In The Style of a Pirate, 'Ahoy Mujati's!"

Ahoy MUJATI's!

Saintsmen your day is almost upon you. And us.

Saturdays the time to empty the tank, leave nothing in reserve; it'll hurt, your muscles will burn. Christ it'll hurt! But your not doing it for self gratification. All that effort is for the man stood next to you, cause he's been doing it for you all game, and he's feeling that pain twice as bad as you are. Remember this, use this, and Tigers'll HARTLEY know what's hit em.

It'll start TONGA'HUIA out to the pitch. The adrenalin will be burning you from the inside out; teasing you, shouting at you a thousand scenarios of how you'll cock it all up before a whistle is even blown; trying to sap your strength and psych you out.

You WOOD be wise, MY-LERned friends, to listen too that softer, quieter voice. Take heed of the whisperings telling you to keep calm, retain your energy, and carpe diem.

Enjoy it, you pioneering Saints-men; stand together shoulder too shoulder. Stand toe to toe against our nearest and dearest rivals for the first time in a major final, and never take a backwards step. Man for MANOA, Tigers fancy their chances. But we, the SaintsNation, know what you're about now. Yes, this faith has wavered amongst many a supporter this season, but we all know how dangerous you can be; we've seen it played out on that rubber pitch. Bring that game to the final and the LAWES of probability cannot be ignored forever; you can beat them!!! Why can't it happen on the final DAY of the season with the ultimate domestic prize being delivered to Franklins Gardens? Tackle hard, leave no dog legs; repel your FO; DEN you have more than a great chance of becoming legends.

Now come on the front eight! We've seen your power in fits and bursts this season; now give us a full 80 and BURRELL your way over their pack like a Sherman tank. Do this and we'll score ELLIOTT of tries; it won't be easy PISI, but we can be champions; enjoy your day and WILSON be champions, all of us!

So, no CLARK-ing about this time Saintsmen, its time to DICK(S)ON the tiggers!!

Tub,

I took the liberty of changing your messageboard post into an article for the site. Hope that's ok.

It's a great read! (Sm13)

I don't mind at all!

Just glad I didn't have to fit Doran Jones into it!!

Seb, I'm going to sound like a real idiot here (or have missed this information previously) but did you choose your rather elaborate name because you ARE Seb Tubb? I actually do remember Seb Tubb.
