After numerous requests, the Harlequin Ladies finally succumbed to pressure and have produced a calendar for 2006. On a fortunately not-so-chilly October day the Ladies took over the Twickenham Stoop and had a lot of fun on a photo shoot. There was a great deal of concern at one point that the balcony at Cannons gym which overlooks the Stoop could become rather crowded if word got out, but fortunately, nobody thought to look outside!

The smile on the security guard's face (which remained for the entire afternoon) was an indication of how popular the calendar is likely to be. Purely by chance (!?), a groundsman also appeared that day, as the pitch was in desperate need of a good brushing! At one point the Ladies were worried that he might be charged with dangerous driving on the tractor as he appeared to be paying no attention to the area of pitch in front of him!!!!

Calendars will be on sale at the Stoop shortly during home games and will also be available to order via the website: www.harlequinladies.co.uk for the bargain price of £10. A donation from each calendar will be given to charity. Orders are already being taken and the calendars will be dispatched as soon as they arrive, however, it seems unwise to wait as these are limited edition! A signing will be arranged and publicised very shortly.
