Quins season will go down to the wire after Exeter Chiefs inflicted a 58-26 defeat  Sandy Park. That wasn't in the script.

The final game sees Bristol arrive at The Stoop next Saturday with all Prem games kicking  off at 15.05. The battle for a fourth top finish could not be tighter.. Chiefs win puts them on 50 points - the same as Quins. Sale are two points ahead and they are at Sarries while Chiefs face Leicester. On paper Quins have the easier task but who knows.

In the end Quins may be truly thankful for Louis Lynagh's late try which earned the bonus point after efforts from Marcus Smith, Tyrone Green and Alex Dombrandt.

It was 21-21 at  half-time,  but for once Quins's second half performance let them down. Head coach Danny Wilson told the media: "They were outstanding second half,but on top of that I think we were pretty soft in defence and obviously it's cost us.

"I think discipline was an issue, we gave a lot of defensive breakdown penalties away and offsides away, which gave them a lot of entries and a lot of opportunities."
