Quins looked like they hadn't played for months as they were hammered 52-7 by Sarries. They couldn't even muster the excuse that it was an away game as the one-sided encounter was played at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Coach Danny Wilson was rueful as he faced the media: "All the damage was done in the first half. When you go into a second half 30-odd-0 down it completely changes your game plans and our defence was really poor today."

For the record Quins only try was scored by Alex Dombrandt in the second half. Sarries ran in 8 as they overtook Quins to move into second place.

A week to put things right before Bath visit.

Beat Bath while we get thrashed at Saints and it's as it were. The run in is fitting a gallon into two quarts.
