Quins Go Out

Quins bowed out of the Chamnpions Cup with their heads held high after running Stormers so close in Cape Town going down 32-28 .. 

Stormers strength at the breakdown was the deciding factor leaving Quins now having to focus on finishing in the top 4 in the Premiership.

This gane was entertaining throughout with a very early try for the hosts from  Deon Fourie with Alex Dombrandt replying. Steven Kitshoff and Fourie increased the home lead and it looked like it was all over for Quins when Damian Willemse and Willie Engelbrecht scored.

Fortunately, Quins recovered their never-say-die attitude and came back through Dombrandt, Andre Esterhuizen and Joe Marchant to get the Stormers worried.

Tabai Matson said " To score three tries in the last seven minutes shows we will fight to the end. e thought if we matched them physically we could put them under pressure but we couldn't do it consistently enough and we missed our opportunities."
