Quins are now clear top points scorers in the Premiership after a nine try demolition of a Gloucester side which ran out of steam.

The 59-24 scoreline was a bit harsh on the visitors who fought back from being 24-0 down to level - only for Quins to cut loose in the second half.

We were comfortably in the lead when Matt Banahan was red carded with ten minutes left. He left his head in the wrong place as he went in for a tackle. Those are the laws these day.

As a result we ran in three late tries to add some gloss and to take us to 408 for the season, so far. We are in third place but still 12 points behind leaders Bristol Bears. Next week we take Brizz on on thein own pitch - a win there would set things up very nicely.

For the record, early tries from Luke Northmore, Mike Brown, Cadan Murley and Danny Care got us the the bonus point. Gloucester came back to level only for Care to get his second try and Tyrone Green his first.

Once Banahan was binned Alex Dombrandt crossed twice and Luke Northmore got his second.
