A try just a few minutes from the end robbed Quins of an epic victory at Sandy Park. We were leading by 13 points in the second half but the resolute Chiefs wouldn't lie down and sneaked a 21-20 win with that late try from Dave Ewers.

After withstanding early pressure Danny Care put us ahead only for Stu Townsend to bring Chiefs level.

Not many win at Sandy Park. It looked like we might when Scott Baldwin's try and  Marcus Smith' penalty increased our lead to 20-7.

The home side came back with a try from Harry Williams and they kept ip the prssure with Quins defending for their lives. However, the defence was finally breached when Ewers went over.

There was time for a rally. Marcus Smith breaking the defensive line only for that man Ewers to force a vital turnover almost on the home line.
