We didn't need a full complement of players to notch an excellent 34-24 bonus point win at Kingsholm. For most of the second haldf we were down to 14 after an unlucky red for Andre Esterhuizen who was alleged to have elbowed Lloyd Evans just after the break.
We were 17-19 up at the time and still managed to double that score -Marcus Smith keeping us in all the right places and with Earle and Dombrand benefitting from his superb kicking.
Esterhuizen's dismissal came when it was alleged he dropped an elbow into Evans' face with the pair on the floor. Unlucky.
The Glen Young was sin-binned for pulling down a maul but we held out with 13 men.

Earle took Marcus Smith's perfectly-weighted kick and the TV official ruled he was not offside, and there was also a investigation of offside about our bonus point try. Dombrandt was close to Smith as he launched an up-and-under that fell for Luke Northcote. He sent in Dombrandt to run into the left corner.
Again the TV official was happy.
And so were we.
