Sunday 23rd May sees 8 intrepid Quinssa members take on the challenge of their lives when they will be cycling around 30 miles over 13 bridges from Tower Bridge to Hampton Court on May 23rd with the aim of raising over £500 for the British Stroke Association.
Those of you who know us will know what a superfit (!) lythe (!!), lycra clad (maybe!) bunch we are!! Training is underway, well sort of and there's plenty of time yet.....
Aside from having a bit of fun, we are all hoping to raise some money for this worthwhile cause. I'm sure that many of us know someone close to us who has suffered a stroke and this charity is the only UK wide charity solely concerned with combating stroke in people of all ages. It funds research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation, and helps stroke patients and their families.
We are hoping to be wearing the new Quins cycling gear on the day so if you are around the Thames on 23rd May looking out for the Quarters whizzing past and give us a wave!
So please, if you have a spare pound to shed (£ not lb) then please spare a thought for our effort and consider sponsoring us.
Here's a link to the Just Giving website which tells you a little about us and the cause and which you can use to make a donation.

If you are able to help then a huge thank you from us and the rest of our team. Please remember to tick the giftaid box if you are a UK taxpayer and leave a suitable message!
Thanks for your support and if you see us before the big day don't forget to ask us how the training is going!
