Olly Kohn's Curry Night at the Rawalpindi Grill, 1 September
By Prof
August 25 2009
Olly Kohn is hosting a curry night at the Rawalpindi, Twickenham at 7:30 on Tuesday 1st September.
The Rawalpindi Grill is Olly Kohn's sponsor, it is also a jolly nice place to have a curry that is a bit different to the usual.
As well as Olly there will be some of the new players in attendance - Jon Andress, Lewis Stevenson and Josh Drauniniu as well as the familiar faces of Tosh Masson and Tani Fuga.
A set menu will be provided at a cost of £20 per person (reduced from the usual £25).
All you need to do is contact the Rawalpindi to book your place and mention that it is for Olly Kohn's Players Evening at 7:30, Tuesday 1st September.
You will need to book for this event, it will probably fill up fast so call soon on 020 8892 3082
The Rawalpindi Grill can be found at 62 King Street, Twickenham, TW1 3SH.
I really enjoyed this last year and the food was excellent, but unfortunately 1st September is my daughter's 18th birthday and I don't think she'd fancy combining the Curry Night with her birthday party...
The Prof Go on, bring her along - I hope you bought her a season ticket for her birthday
Unfortunately she's got a Saturday job being a student and all that, but she does come aong once in a while. The last time was the HC QF but we're not talking about that...
Just got back from the curry and I just wanted to say huge thanks to Olly for organising it and to Josh, Tani, Tosh, John and Lewis for coming along and to Abul and his staff for making us so welcome.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, so I think we have:
John Andress - least likely to enjoy a phall or jalfrezi
Josh Drauninlu - least likely to have his name pronounced correctly
Lewis Stevenson - least likely to be mistaken for anything other than a lock - whatever Captain Quin might think!
