What can I say other than I'm getting very worried about Saturday 8th May. It was already set to be a very long day. Car park party.... a rather important rugby game...post match Craic...... Then I get this through. Shagging Ferrets

It's from a friend of Svengali's who for reasons of personal safety would prefer not to be named. For those of you who are not yet aware of them you can get an idea by following this link. - The Gagging Ferrets.

"Gagging Ferrets confirmed as top billing at Allied Arms"
Despite  many obstacles....The Gagging Ferrets have found a slot in their sell out tour of Reading and have confirmed that they will top the bill at the "End of Season Party" at the Allied Arms on Saturday 8th May. The party will commence after the game against the Saracens and will go on till late. Impresario and business manager of the Ferrets "Svengali" was quoted as saying " It was always going to be a tough call, trying to squeeze an extra gig into an already overbooked schedule is one of the more difficult challenges for the band to overcome, that, and singing in tune."

It is rumoured that the band will be supported by " Rage against The Poteen"  but as yet these rumours are unconfirmed.

Landlord of the Allied Arms, "Reading_Glasses", said " We are very pleased that the band have decided to play, we have been begging them for some months now, and at last the pressure has paid off. We must now pray for good weather and ensure that the crowd is controlled in a proper manner. We may be forced to restrict entry to people wearing London Irish and Saracens shirts only!!"

So come and support YOUR band.........Saturday 8th May......Allied Arms......7PM  till Late

My advice to you dear people is that if you have not done so already, make sure you are staying in Reading somewhere. Have a hangover cure to hand. Oh... keep some garlic handy as well.
