A tremendous second half saw off Gloucester in front of their beloved Shed and keeps hopes alive of a top four finish. With four games to go Wasps are ninth and ten points behind Chiefs who are in fourth but have played one game more. You can only hope.

Wasps were well worth their 27-21 victory with all of their proints coming after the break where Gloucester led 6-0. Dan Robson grabbed the headlines after coming off the bench and slotting a superb drop kick.

The half time oranges did Wasps a power of good as superb finishing saw Jacob Umaga, Gabriel Oghre and Charlie Atkinson all going over.

A stunned Gloucedster did rally and it was 21-21 before Dan Robson stepped up to regain the lead. His coach told the media: ""Dan's drop-goal was probably the crucial moment. It rewarded his practice. He always starts and ends training by taking around 50 pot-shots at goal. He came on and played with considerable maturity and that, with Vaea Fifita's last minute line-out steal, were the crucial incidents."

That bit of work at the line-out thwarted GloucEster's  desperate attempts to take the game after Jimmy Gopperth had added a bit more gloss with a late penalty.

Warriors at home in the next Premiership game -we will have to wait until April 23rd for that.
