Wasps Go Down Again

Lee Blackett has a big job on his hands. The arrival of bottom club Glucester was the opportunity to get back to our winning streak - instead we were beaten 20-19 by a side which went down to 14 men after 28 minutes.

It was our fourth home defeat in a rowe.

The basics were often wrong again. Far too many penalties were conceded including a a couple of important scrums.

Gloucester took advantage. They led 17-0 at the break despite having Thorley red carded for a head to head tackle on Rob Miller.

In the second half we actually took the lead thanks to Gaskell, Miller and Basett but that indiscipline cost us with Twelvetrees slotting a winning penalty in the closing minutes.

Gloucester: Tries: Socino, Harris Cons: Barton 2 Pens: Barton, Twelvetrees.
