Back On Track

London Wasps got back on track at the Madejski Stadium winning a tight, tactical game thanks to the boot of Andy Goode and a penalty try. 

Christian Wade returned to the field after a "stretch" with England but in truth neither side really threatened to open up he game with so many players out injured.

Wasps take a second win on the road in the Premiership following a dip in peformance at home to Bath and the usual mixed bag in the LV= Cup.

A timely Amlin Challenge Cup double header with Grenoble looms. It should serve to sharpen up backs and forwards before Aviva Premiership football returns. Will it be another season of mid-table mediocrity or will we contest the play-offs once more. The portents are better - the auguries of innocence may yet arrive.

London Irish continue to slide and must be worried with Worcester showing belated signs of life.
