Sunday sees a first ever visit to AP for the Premiership new boys, London Welsh.

Controversially, in some peoples eyes, promoted at the end of last season, they got their just rewards for winning the playoffs that everyone had signed up to. We all remember the flak that flew when we won successive playoffs for the Premiership titles in 2003/4/5!!

No, Welsh are in the Premiership by right and judging by the first six games, have been a real surprise to some. Not the whipping boys that many had predicted. A sprinkling of former Wasps adds some spice to Sunday's match - Corker, Purdy, Jewell.

Throw in Tangoman and Tonga'huia Mk II and the scene is set for a lively encounter.

What of Wasps? After the seventh heaven glow after 55 minutes at HQ, things have very much reached the level that most expected at this stage of the season. We are very much work in progress as a team but we have recruited some pretty good players close season as well.

When it all comes together, my gutfeel says that we will be some happy bunnies as supporters.

And so to Sunday. We are at AP and I fancy that it will be a tight game. Wasps by 7 anyone?
