Come and play with the players. Richie Birkett and John Hart have a sevens tournament, and there are a few teams left to sell!

PRO/AM TOUCH 7s TOURNAMENT

 

In support of Richard Birkett’s and John Hart’s Benefit Year.

 

Bring along a team of 10 and be joined by a current Wasps player or a Past Legend.

 

Players to be involved include Joe Worsley, Tom Varndell, Richard Haughton, Tim Payne, Harty, Birkey, Nic Berry and Nicky Robinson

 

Mixed teams and mixed ability welcome.

 

Wednesday 24th August 2011

 

London Wasps training ground, Twyford Avenue, Acton.

 

Starting @ 1pm, finishing with Prize Giving at approx. 6.30pm.

 

Entry is £500+VAT per team which includes:

 

Post Tournament Barbeque; Official London Wasps Photographer; Warm-up with London Wasps Fitness Team.

 

You will play a minimum of 5 games to a maximum of 7 minutes each way.  Awards for winners of the Cup, Shield, Plate and Bowl.  Team bibs provided.

Now I'm too crocked for this (my last genuine sprint was when the DWs went down to Grasshoppers to play touch with Trevor Leota, and I pulled both my hamstrings running away from a woman!) but it sounds like a great day out.
