The 31-year-old has played at both loose-head and tight-head, and arrives in the summer on a two-year deal. Beginning his professional career in his native South Africa, whom he represented at Under-20s level, the Pretoria-born scrummager spent five seasons with the Cheetahs, playing in Super Rugby and the Pro 14.
Standing at 6 foot (1.83m) and weighing 20 stone 3 (128kg), De Bruin moved to Leicester Tigers in 2020, playing 17 games in his single season with the East Midlands outfit.
