Newcastle Falcons wing Adam Radwan has been selected in the Barbarian F.C. squad to take on the World XV for next weekend’s Killik Cup match at Twickenham Stadium. Radwan featured 24 times for the Falcons throughout the 2022-23 campaign, scoring six tries. The 25-year-old has also won two caps for England and scored four tries across the fixtures, including a hat-trick against Canada in 2021.
The high-flying Falcon links up with the squad headed by former England and now Australia head coach Eddie Jones to take on a World XV side with former All Black head coach Steve Hansen in charge.
Both squads have now been confirmed for the fixture taking place next Sunday May 28 in a 2pm kick-off.
The two squads are jam-packed with world-class talent, with internationals from England, Wales, South Africa, New Zealand, Argentina, Australia, Tonga, Japan, Scotland, Fiji and Italy all involved for the blockbuster clash at HQ.
If you want to read more it is on the Offy, but I had to stick some sort of story up to keep the hamster in the wheel. This should do for another two weeks. What a tedious summer this could be.
Hope you liked the photo, couldn't easily find one of Radders & I had no inclination to put any effort into it.
Phil.
