22 year old Argentine striker signed on a one year contract during Dundee's pre-season trip to Italy at the start of Ivano's reign.

Dundee held off interest from Bari and Porto to clinch the signature of the highly rated forward.

Fabian has played most of his football in Paraguay and was top league scorer in that country when Dundee swooped.

Had a spell with Arsenal during the 1998/99 season making several first team appearances, mainly from the bench. However, freely admits he did not enjoy living in London.

His performances in Dundee's pre season friendlies have shown him to be a strong and skillful player with a powerful shot. His first season was brutally cut short by what can only be described as assault in a Derby match at Dens.

Fab returned towards the end of last season and signed a new three year deal in the summer, however has still to rediscover his true form.
