DUNDEE DEBUT

The 6' 4" central defender made the breakthrough into the first team during season 99/00.

His debut against Celtic saw him do a fine marking job on multi million pound Mark Viduka, and he impressed in subsequent appearances.

These performances brought him International recognition and he made his debut for Scotland at under 21 level in a 4-0 win in Estonia.

He saw himself get on the wrong side of referees in early appearances, and after having a virtually unblemished disciplinary record in his youth career found himself sent off twice in his first five starts for Dundee's first team.

His return to the first team after suspension saw him take on a regular place and he has become a regular feature in the Dee's defence.

Lee was also a member of the side which reached the BP Youth Cup Final in 1998-99.

Under Ivano he initially seemed to have a bright future and was invited down to Leeds United for a trial with talk of a £1.5 million transfer.

However following a much publicised training ground bust up has found himself an outcast.

His career has hit a downward spiral and has spent loan periods already this season at Sheffield Wednesday, Plymouth Argyle, Notts County and is currently at Falkirk.

Lee was recently officially put on the transfer list at offers around £250,000.
