Real Madrid's European Cup winning centre back, Ivan Campo, has turned down a possible transfer to ambitious Premiership outfit Bolton Wanderers. Campo has turned down the move to ambitious Wanderers in favour of fighting for his place at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Cash strapped Real were keen to offload Campo in order to obtain a transfer fee as he only has a year left on his contract and he will be free to leave on a Bosman free transfer next summer, possibly to the Premiership. A fee had been agreed between the clubs but Campo failed to agree personal terms.
