Bolton Wanderers travel to White Hart Lane to face a Tottenham Hotspur side who have slightly stuttered recently following a stunning start to the season that saw the North London side top the Premiership early on. Bolton travelled to White Hart Lane three times and conceded thirteen goals in Premiership, FA Cup and Worthington Cup matches.
Bolton fell to an unlucky 3-2 defeat in the Premiership whereas weakened sides played in the FA Cup 4th Round where Spurs won 4-0 and in the Worthington Cup Quarter Final where Bolton lost 6-0.
On the injury front, both Paul Warhurst and Ricardo Gardner (pictured) come back into the first team picture after injury lay offs. Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce, who today celebrated his 48th birthday as well as his third anniversary since becoming Wanderers manager, has an almost full strength side to choose from with only Bruno N'Gotty and Stig Tofting (for both see links below) missing out.
The match takes place on the 20th October, meaning it is exactly one year since Bolton's memorable 2-1 victory away to local rivals Manchester United. Here's for a similar result!
