Liverpool visit the Reebok tomorrow to face a Wanderers side eager for another high profile scalp following Wednesday night's victory away to Manchester United for the second season in succession. Bolton will be hoping to follow on last year's 2-1 victory at the Reebok after Dean Holdsworth's late winner early last season.
The joy of Wednesday's victory was dampened however with the news that Paul Warhurst is very doubtful for Saturday's game after he suffered a bad head injury against Aston Villa and although he appeared as a substitute at Old Trafford, he has suffered a recurrence of a groin injury that ruled him out earlier in the seaosn.
There is a crisis in defence as French defenders Bruno N'Gotty and Bernard Mendy are both definitely out through injury.
