Ladbrokes and William Hill offer their odds for the Second Division Championship for season 2002/03. Read on and find out who are the bookies' favourite to go top... and for the drop.

Fixed odds for the Second Division Championship 2001-2002.

With the start of the football season only a couple of weeks away the bookmakers have started to give odds for the new season. As you can see below, both Ladbrokes and William Hill tip Raith Rovers to move back into Division One at the end of the season, while Dumbarton and Cowdenbeath are favourites to slide into Division Three.

Stranraer have been given odds of 12/1 and 9/1 to win the championship. This is probably due to the lack of signings being made by the club during the close-season, but hopefully the odds will be reduced if and when our midfield is sorted out. The fact we are not highly fancied might help the team initially, as fans might expect less from the players...initially!
