Stranraer 1-2 Dumbarton

Stranraer gaffer Bily McLaren was really annoyed about his teams performance. This is what he had to say:

"Had having an enforced absence from the dugout and having to watch it from upstairs, my goodness me, we don't have to ask why people don't come and watch our matches."

"I'm not saying that our Dumbarton didn't deserve there win, but our performance was lamentable."

Allan Jenkins, Stranaer's Man of the Match shared his thoughts of the game to me. I asked was it frustrating?
" That's one word to describe [it]." We just didn't pass the ball the way we can, and we never got into the game."

Allan is suspended for Tuesday night. Here is what he said.
" Aye, of course." " It was silly on my part because I have been booked once or twice in the league, but I have been booked in every round of the cup, and for the Stirling Albion game it was mouthing off so its stupid on my own part."

I then asked him about his silver boots that werent scoring enough.
" I have scored (last week against Forfar) so I can get away with it now."

"I could have done with scoring one today."

Allan has scored 5 goals so far this season. He then added.
" I hope to get about 10 goals but it is a big ask with these silver boots."
