Playing Bangladesh A in their final warm up match both Steve Harmison and Paul Collingwood are among the wickets in Savar. Collingwood was only playing as a replacement for Mark Butcher so success with the ball is a boost to his test chances. Steve Harmison's place in the team for the first test against Bangladesh must now be a certainty after a fine performance. He took two wickets in an over to leave Bangladesh A reeling on 17-2 and finished with figures of 3-35 from ten overs.

Paul Collingwood who was in for Mark Butcher provided a breakthrough with the ball when Bangladesh were proving tricky to dismiss. His figures of 1-5 from five overs will do his selection chances no harm, especially with his main contenter Rikki Clarke failing to take a wicket.

A good batting performance from Colly tomorrow will make his selection challenge difficult to ignore...
