Ferrari continued a poor showing here in Canada today with a rather disappointing performance in qualifying at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Schumacher could only manage 5th quickest while Massa was down in 10th, a poor result indeed from both drivers. Michael Schumacher
Q: 5th - 1'15.986

5th may not seem like a too bad of a result for Michael Schumacher, but considering that Fernando Alonso, Giancarlo Fisichella, Kimi Raikkonen and Jarno Trulli are ahead of him, it is not very promising. Schumacher should be able to pass Jarno Trulli without too much difficulty but to get around the other men and possibly win, Ferrari will have to have a very impressive strategy. Hopefully for Schumacher's chances and the Tifosi, they do.

Felipe Massa
Q: 10th - 1'17.209

Felipe Massa certainly wasn't very impressive today, managing the slowest time of the final 10 runners. Massa should be able to score points considering that the less than stellar performing and certainly not extremely reliable Honda drivers are in front of him. Still, it will not be an easy race for the young Brazillian.
