Formula 1's most successful driver of all time, Michael Schumacher turned 37 on January the third. Schumacher has broken nearly every record possible in Formula 1 and he does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Schumacher has taken 7-World Championships, 84 victories and 1248 points in his 232 race career. One of the only records he does not hold is that of pole positions. Michael has claimed 64 poles, just one behind Ayrton Senna's 65 mark. Schumacher has not given much indication as to whether or not he will retire when his contract with Ferrari expires at the end of 2006. Schumacher may and probably will sign an extension with the Scuderia, but reports suggest he may sign with McLaren or Red Bull. It is not likely however that Schumacher will retire. |
