Mercedes' Norbert Haug has stated that Kimi Raikkonen has not signed any agreement to race for Ferrari. The Finn has been rumoured to come to Ferrari in 2006 as a trade for Michael Schumacher or as a racer alongside Schumacher in 2007. Haug had this to say about a move by Raikkonen:

"Nothing about what has been said is true. Kimi has not signed a preliminary agreement with Ferrari."

A similar statement was issued by Ferrari as they stated that:

"We already have two drivers under contract for the 2006 season. It's too soon to start talking about 2007. We have not made any commitments with anybody for 2007."
