After taking a break from the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, we look ahead to the FIA Formula One Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji. For the first time since 1977, twenty years after the last Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji, in 2007, Fuji is back. In 1977 James Hunt won in a Mclaren, in 2007, it's still anybody's race.
The Formula One teams prepare for the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji. Ferrari have come forth with several aerodynamic upgrades for their championship winning F2007. Felipe Massa has stepped forward and said he would support teammate Kimi Raikkonen's title charge to the 2007 driver's world championship.
With Kimi 13 points down from championship leader Lewis Hamilton -Kimi's 84 points to Lewis' 97- Ferrari will do anything to get it's drivers ahead of Hamilton, to close that gap. Fuji seems to be an unknown to Ferrari, whether it will suit the F2007 or the MP-422.
With 30 points up for grabs in the drivers' championship, in the remaining three races Ferrari will do everything they can t allow Kimi to win all 30 of them. With both teams, Ferrari and Mclaren, topping the test times in both of Friday's free practices, we will only be able to see who has the advantage in qualifying.
