The Jordan Grand Prix team may not have collected much in the way of Silverware over the last 12 months but one of the teams engineers is hoping to pick up a trophy of his own.

Tim Gulland is a Grand Prix engineer and a UKWA Formula Windsurf racer and will shortly be taking part in this years Highland Spring HiHo race series to be held in the British Virgin Islands.  Tim has backing from Jordan's Vodka V10 party drink.

Each day an island-to-island race challenges the fleet of competing windsurfers. The racers will cover over 150 miles as they race 9 times from one island to another.

“The HiHo is going to be a real test of endurance. The longest of the races is a 28 mile “thigh burner” between two islands, so its not just about speed you have to be able to go the distance!” said Tim.

Vodka V10 are on board with Tim for the event. Tim says “I’m really looking forward to getting out there and giving it some Jordan attitude and will celebrate a good result with a V10 at the post event party!”

Tim receives sponsorship from: Vodka V10, Starboard, Severne, TWB, Suunto and www.Theyr.net.
