Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Eugen Bopp will spend the next five days on trial with Town as he searches for a contract.

The 22-year-old was let go by Forest at the end of last season despite being able to play anywhere across the midfield.

Town manager Jim Magilton: “Eugen will spend the week with us and we'll see how he gets on, it will give us time to look at him and him time to look at us.”

He joined Forest in 2001 and went on to make 77 appearances and scoring 11 goals before being let go.
