Spurs Bid For Bent?

One of today’s tabloid newspapers is suggesting that Spurs have made a £10million bid for former Town striker Darren Bent.

If the rumour turns out to be true Town would be due nearly £1.5million from Charlton as part of the deal that took Bent to the Valley last summer.

 

Bent, who scored 22 goals for Charlton last season, has been linked with several sides this summer including Liverpool and Newcastle.
