Peters Looking Ahead

Town midfielder Jaime Peters is hoping to put a frustrating first year at Town behind him and hold down a first team spot next season.

Jaime picked Town over the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United last summer but he has been restricted to just a handful of appearances, something he hopes to change next year.

 

Jaime: “It's not gone as I'd have wanted this season but it's been a learning experience for me.

 

“I've had to get used to the culture and style of football in England and that's going to take time.

 

“It's helped that I am at Ipswich though as they play football the way I like it, with the ball at the feet. Too many of the other Championship sides play high balls for my liking.

 

“I've had a run in the reserves, so I've kept my fitness up and I've had a look at the first-team so I know what the expectations are now and hopefully I can match them next season.”
