Alan Waiting For Scan Results

Ipswich Town striker Alan Lee will have to wait at least 24 hours before knowing the extent of his hamstring injury.

Lee left the pitch after just 34 minutes of Town’s 2-1 win against Crewe earlier tonight.

Lee: “We will see then where we stand.

“It's been bothering me a little over the last game or two and I felt it stiffening up so there was no option but to come off.

“It eased after I had a shower and now it's a case of waiting to see what the scan shows up.”

Town physio Dave Williams added: “There is no point in guessing what the damage is at this stage.

“We'll have a look at the scans and go from there but obviously the fact that Alan has come off makes him doubtful for the weekend.”
