Town Rejected Moore

It has emerged today that Ipswich Town rejected the chance to sign Leeds United striker Ian Moore on a free transfer.

Royle did try to sign the frontman in the summer but was knocked back by Leeds but it now appears the former Burnley striker is going to be leaving Elland Road but he will not be coming to Portman Road.

 

Town manager Joe Royle:  “We were offered Moore but we now have Alan Lee, who I'm more than happy with. We have got Adam Proudlock back in the squad after coming back from injury, we have young Danny Haynes and Dean McDonald eager to play and Sam Parkin is getting closer.”
