Juan Delighted

Ipswich Town midfielder Jimmy Juan says he was delighted with his goal against Sheffield United but disappointed with a point.

Juan gave Town the lead with a 54th minute with a stunning 25-yard free kick flew in off the underside of the cross bar.

 

Juan said: “I was pleased with the goal but it would have meant so much more if we had won the game, I spend a lot of time practising free-kicks and that was one of the best I have ever scored.

 

“I thought it was going to be the winner but we lost concentration for a second and that cost us.

 

“We can take a lot of confidence from the performance though and when you think they are second in the table and have strong players, then we can take a lot from the game.

 

“If we want to get in the Play-Offs, though, we have to start turning draws into wins.”
