It has been reported that West Ham have agreed to sell Gavin Williams to Town for a fee of somewhere in the region of £350,000.
It is believed that the 25-year-old is ready to sign a two and half year deal offered to him by Town although the finer points of the deal do still need to be finalised.
Since the start of his loan from Upton Park Williams has been an ever-present in the Town side, which is opposite of what it has been like at West Ham this season where he has failed to make a single appearance.
The money for this transfer has been made available after Town restructured part of their debt, the remaining money will now be added the “get a striker for Joe” fund.
